Dress Code at the LGC

A Guide to Dressing for the Fairways

Welcome to Leduc Golf Club! As you prepare to join us, either for a round on our beautiful course or a session at the driving range, we want to ensure you have a fantastic experience. Part of that experience involves dressing appropriately, so we've outlined our dress code below to help you arrive prepared and ready to enjoy your day.

Here's What to Avoid:

  • Cut-Off Jeans: While we embrace a relaxed dress code, cut-off jeans are a bit too casual for our greens and range.

  • Muscle Shirts and Tank Tops: To maintain a semi-professional atmosphere, we ask that you opt for shirts with sleeves unless they have a collar.

  • Sleeveless Shirts: If you're going sleeveless, please make sure your shirt sports a collar. This little touch adds to the semi-professional vibe we cherish.

  • Work/Steel-Toed Boots: Safety first! While we appreciate the durability of work boots, they're not quite right for the course. Plus, they can be tough on our greens.

  • High Heels, Flip Flops, Sandals: While it may be stylish, these shoes and the golf course don't mix. They're not comfortable for walking the course, and they can damage the greens.

When you're heading out for a round of golf, wearing the right attire not only helps you fit in with the golfing culture and follow our dress code, but also contributes to your comfort, performance, and respect for the sport's traditions.

  1. Collared Polo Shirts: A staple in the golf wardrobe for both men and women.

    1. Tip: Opt for breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics to stay cool and dry.

  2. Golf Trousers or Shorts: Choose comfortable, tailored trousers or shorts. Shorts should be knee-length. Denim is usually a no-go on most courses.

If you have any questions about the dress code or anything else, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help and ensure you have a great time at Leduc Golf Club. See you on the course (or the range) soon!

Thank You!

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding our dress code. It's all about ensuring that everyone has a pleasant and respectful experience at Leduc Golf Club.
