In the spring of 1961, the Leduc Golf Club was born as a humble nine-hole course. Through the years, it has undergone significant transformations, expanding and maturing into the captivating eighteen-hole course it is today. With a Par 71 and stretching over 6,600 yards of meticulously maintained fairways, our course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels.

In 2021 our beautiful new purpose-built facility was completed and offers a full complement of services for all aspects of the golfer’s day including Hackers Grill, lounge and patio, golf simulators, Golf Pro Shop, PGA pros, and practice areas.

Shareholder
Membership

Since our inception in 1961, Shareholders have been the core of our semi-private club. Currently, the purchase price of this non-equity share is $500. There are benefits and responsibilities associated with a share purchase including the opportunity to participate in the governance of the Club. Your share is activated yearly when you pay your dues, and should you decide you no longer wish to participate there is no ‘selling’ value associated with this non-equity share and the share is simply deactivated and returned to the Club.

Shareholders must keep their share in good standing and there are several ways to activate the share - you choose the way that works best for you!

We are governed by a board of Directors and our Articles of Association, as Part 9 Company in the Province of Alberta, are readily available for your review.

Annual Associate Membership

As an Associate Member, you have full booking and playing privileges for the season as assigned to the fee option selected, however there are no voting privileges with this membership option.

Intermediate Membership

Intermediate Membership is available to golfers 19- 34 years of age and participants enjoy benefits which are extended to you by our Shareholders. These benefits include significantly reduced fees for golf and the opportunity to invest in becoming a Shareholder of the Leduc Golf & Country Club. A portion of the yearly fees are assigned to a future club share, a purchase plan which accrues until you reach the share purchase price of $500.00. 

To achieve the Share purchase, the Intermediate Membership must continue without a break – the years need to be continuous. For example, if you miss a year enrolling as an Intermediate and then return the following year, the dollars which were banked on your behalf are set back to zero and on your return begin accruing again. There is no opting in or out of this, instead it is offered to you with the hope of a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the club – for the love of golf!

Your share, once assigned, is activated yearly when you pay your dues, and should you decide you no longer wish to participate there is no ‘selling’ value associated with this non-equity share and the share is simply deactivated and returned to the Club. Shareholders must keep their share in good standing, once fully purchased.

There are three age categories, and all enjoy full Associate benefits while building share equity.

Membership

Making Golf Accessible For Young Players

Please note:

  • Restricted play to after 3 pm, 7 days a week. Can play earlier but only with a member.

  • Ages 9 and under golf for free when accompanied by an adult.

  • Junior golfers will not be permitted to rent a power cart

Please note: Juniors (age 18 and under) are not permitted to ride a power cart unless accompanied by an adult.

At Leduc Golf Club, we're dedicated to nurturing the next generation of golfers. That's why we offer exceptional opportunities for junior golfers to experience the game at a fraction of the cost. 

Juniors aged 10-18 can play for HALF THE PRICE of regular green fees every day of the week. It's our way of encouraging young enthusiasts to develop their skills and passion for golf in a real-world setting.

For our youngest golfers, 9 and under, there's even more to smile about. When accompanied by an adult, they play for free! Plus, they get a complimentary bucket of balls to use on the range, perfect for practicing those swings.
